In the middle of the downstairs kitchen of Chez Panisse, we set up a table once in a while at the chef's request. This table is only by invitation-can never be reserved and is not on the books. You sit between the pastry chef's bowls of fruit and the salad chef's marble counter. This table is for someone who wants to really be in the middle of a kitchen. It is usually just visiting chefs or friends of Alice. This donation includes dinner for two at the kitchen table with the wine pairings of the evening.
